   Arizona boasts some of the sunniest weather in the country. With 300 days of sunshine each year and an average temperature of 85 degrees, students will find our state a pleasant place for learning and living.

The surrounding areas of Phoenix have attracted outdoor types for years.  There are desert mountains surrounding the valley for hiking and camping.  Just an hour or two outside of the Phoenix valley you can find forested mountains and cooler temperatures. Both Flagstaff, Tucson, and the White Mountains have skiing during the winter months.  Road trips to both the Grand Canyon up North and the Mexican beaches down South can be wonderful weekend getaways.

The Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture is located in Central Phoenix, Arizona.  Phoenix is surrounded by scenic desert mountains and towering saguaro cacti.  Combining an old west setting with modern sophistication and style, Phoenix is famous for its luxurious accommodations, rich cultural community and award-winning restaurants.  Students will find Phoenix a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing, working, studying and playing!

Phoenix is adjacent to Indian reservation, the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe (home of Arizona State University), Mesa and Paradise Valley.  A large number of "Snowbirds" (winter visitors from the North) and students live in these areas so a variety of rental houses, town homes, apartments and condos are available.

Our facility is located in a beautiful complex with towering trees, lush tropical foliage, waterfalls and water ways, a true Zen setting in the heart of Phoenix.
