Asian Medical Reflexology is one of the hidden treasures of all of the tools of Asian Medicine. This form of medical reflexology focuses on one of the Microsystems of traditional Chinese medicine. Based on the meridian system and the flow of bioelectrical Qi (energy) that flows through the body, the practitioner can help balance the whole body by working on the points, areas and meridians in the feet.
Since the patient is fully clothed, this type of Asian Medical Reflexology does not require a massage license, instead it is considered a form of Asian medicine that can be practiced if one has appropriate training. This course is an introduction to this tool that can be started very easily and developed with practice, knowledge and training. It is a great tool to bring into your life in general, a wonderful adjunct practice to current practitioners, and a way for students to supplement their earnings and build their future and current practices immediately.
Students and practitioners, increase your chances for a successful first year of future practice and earn while you are in school, or add to your current practice, through the practice of reflexology focusing on foot and hand Microsystems.
The class taught by PIHMA Alumnus Anna Lunaria, MSAc., L.Ac. is specifically tailored for PIHMA students. Anna was able to step right into a thriving practice due to starting a Reflexology practice while in acupuncture school. Patients love this kind of treatment! Because it does not require a massage license (working on hands/feet/scalp are excluded) this workshop is open to everyone.
Sunday, November 12, 8 am -5 pm. $75 for students, $100 for L.Ac.s
