Yulissa Chen

I was born in a beautiful mountain city in China, where my parents still live. I am the only child in the family. My parents have given me all their love, and I am always concerned about my parents in my heart on the other side of the ocean.
I started studying Chinese medicine at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2008, mainly studying acupuncture and Chinese Tui Na therapy. Immigrated to California, USA in 2012. In order to become a legal acupuncturist, I moved here from California in 2020. I am fortunate to be a teacher at PIHMA.

I was born in China
I started TCM at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2008
Tell Us About Your Family?
I am a single mom with 2 children. A 6 years old boy – Matthew,
and 9 years old girl – Elizabeth.
What do you like to do for fun?
travel, hiking, or visit friends
What do you teach at PIHMA and what do you like about teaching at PIHMA.
I teach Tui Na therapy. The students have a passion for learning new things, and the school also gives me enough space and support.
