Become a student at PIHMA for a career in healing

Your Journey Starts Now

PIHMA is so much more than a school that teaches healing techniques. Although our instructors are highly-experienced and committed to excellence, it is three types of core values we share with our students that set us apart. Accountability (Serve Compassionately, Act with Integrity, Practice Gratitude), Quality (Foster Innovation, Commit to Excellence, Cultivate Success) and Development (Grow Thoughtfully, Respect the Individual, Build Community), are the driving forces behind all we do so that students can serve others with an open heart.

Joining PIHMA means that your education will be well‐grounded in the practical and theoretical concepts of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In our growth and evolution as a college, we acknowledge the connection and the shared values, principles, and practices of other related traditional and integrative medicines.

While most states require a minimum of Master’s level for licensure, a doctorate degree is not required for licensure. What we have seen is that a doctorate enhances one’s employability at hospitals and clinics.
